Beautiful Mappin 3-way silver plated shell serving dish.  Circa 1865-70.  Features 2 large "shells" and one small.  With a scroll handle, it sits on three ball feet.  This would have been used for biscuits, butter, cheese or pickles.  About 10" wide at widest point. There are a few small tarnish "dots" I have not been able to remove.  Hardly noticeable!
